Uriah Childcare Staffing (UCS) is looking for qualified Substitute Teachers on a temporary, long-term, or permanent basis. Our goal is to close the teacher vacancy gap in childcare facilities. It is our duty to provide childcare centers with staff that will connect teachers to promote professionalism and foster an environment of respect and trust that will build relationships with the stakeholders. In addition we are seeking a dedicated, reliable, childcare teachers to join our team and provide a nurturing and educational environment for children in a facility . The ideal candidate will have a passion for fostering a positive learning environment and the ability to engage students across age level (Infant-school-age). As a Childcare Substitute Teacher, you will step into the classroom to assist or to lead in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring continuity of a safe nurturing classroom environment.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate children's learning and development.
• Manage classroom activities and ensure a safe and clean environment.
• Provide individualized attention to each child, addressing their unique needs.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members.
• Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote a positive learning environment.
• Monitor and assess children's progress, communicating with parents regularly

Experience

• Previous experience working with in a daycare/early childhood setting is preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills are essential for maintaining order and facilitating learning.
• Experience working with children of varying abilities, including those on the autism spectrum, is highly valued.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
